In the middle of Salland (Overijssel) is located the Bakehouse 'Kroepe cottage' from Rene en Inge van der Vegt.
The bakhouse is build in 1923, in the earlier days the front (now kitchen) was used for backing bread, do the laundry, to kook the cattle feed and they lived there during the summer. The back (now the living) was used as swine barn. In 2011 it is completely renovated and adjusted as holiday home for 4 persons. The ground floor has a spacious kitchen with all features to kook, a bathroom, a cosy livingroom with a authentic appearance and a sleeping corner for 2 persons. through a staircase in the livingroom you get to the bedroom which can accommodate 2 persons.The Bakehouse has its own driveway, and a garden with seating.
We also offer the possibility to rent a horse stable. The location offers all the features for lovers of horse riding in the nature, there is also a horse riding school whitin 1500 m where you can rent a horse carriage
Kroepe cottage is located in the wooded area of Salland, close by Raalte, Nijverdal, Zwolle and Deventer. The nature area ‘het Boetererveld’ is within walking distance.
